I bought Altel earphones from best buy over the summer and they are broken, I can only hear with one earphone. I read on the back of the package that there is a 1 year manufactures warranty. The only problem is that I don’t have the receipt.

  1. After 30 days, Best Buy no longer accepts returns/exchanges. You’d have to go with the manufacturer’s warranty, unless you bought a Product Replacement Plan from Best Buy. (I’m guessing you didn’t, ’cause VERY few headphones qualify for the PRP.) You’re going to have to deal with the manufacturer’s warranty, but as far as not having your receipt for that, I’m guessing you’re not in a good situation.

If you need a new set, buy these. I have them and they’re awesome: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9227142&type=product&id=1218062420722

If you don’t like the in-ear style, stick with Sony, regardless.

P.S.: Best Buy will always match bestbuy.com prices in-store. Just ask an associate to verify the price on the website and they’ll let the cashier know.
